I got a 100mile 6 year extended from time of purchase from the MB dealer on a CPO car with 8000 miles on it. The miles on at time of purchase of the warranty does make a difference but your price.
I don't remember what I actually paid but in the $1200 range for the full warranty.
SBC pumps are covered on the MB extended warranty due to the TSB failure issues. I don't know if the labor would be covered.

I got the extra two years on top of the CPO. Already replaced the rear shocks, front speakers and a control module for the climate control system. IMHO well worth it if you plan on keeping the car for the full 100K. Just get a decent price.

Definitely recommend the warranty,
I had all the engine mounts, tranny mounts, hydrolic bushings for steering, bushings in the front suspension components, new transmission computer, o-rings, coil packs, cylinder #4 spark plug wires, ac filter, and a couple other things taken care of under warranty.
I'm assuming these repairs I just recieved would have easily cost more than what my extended warranty would have covered.
The car drives like new again and they did all the repairs in a day so I'm happy!
