Traffic Ticket - Denville, NJ
Can anyone recommend a lawyer in the area to help me with this?

In Maryland, and in North Carolina, there were/are attorneys "in the know" who have appropriate connections to get a fine reduced and or find optimal options to minimize your pain. I have seen folks throw some $$ at the right attorney and get off much more lightly with the DMV/DA out of court; usually only worth it for big $$ fines and points though.
I have never resided in New Jersey, but one would think that if you are able to find the right contact, you can probably do better than what sounds like a large fine and the subsequent insurance premiums that will likely follow with a lot of driver points. A legal consultation is generally free, and I would get a few of those to educate yourself on your options until you find that contact and the best solution.
Good luck.

I would suggest getting a lawyer from Denville area since they'll probably know the judges and/or prosecutor to cut you a deal. If you can, pay an enormous fine and ask for a unsafe driving (only allowed 3 in your lifetime, if not every 5 years I believe). This will knock off the points but add an extra $250-500 to your fines. This is from experience within South Brunswick, North Brunswick and Plainsboro. If a prosecutor from Plainsboro can agree to it along with the cop, it'll work anywhere else!

Let us know it turns out. Jersey's a ***** with cops overall.

one of the lawyers from the solicitation I received in the mail at the fee of $350 for his one-time, late as hell, appearence. He speaks to the prosecutor who he works out a deal with (Legal Money Scam),and after you're out another $450,you're on your way home ,broke ,but with no points on your license. Realistically speaking (again),it's not a bad deal, but you pay us now,or you pay us later, but you're gonna pay someone.
