From that very link it states:

"Cash-hungry Ford lost $12.6 billion last year and expects to burn up to $14B until 2009".

What exactly is it that you don't like?

How much worse can an Indian company do than what Ford's done to this brand already? Here's a look at final 2007 sales in the US:

Jaguar –24.4% at 15,683 (2006: 20,683)

That is by FAR the lowest number on the list. They are outsold by Kia, Land Rover, Hummer,Mini...heck, even saab sells twice as many cars. What could this well financed Indian company possibly do to make this brand worse now?

This brand died many years ago but has not yet realized it. Ford dealt the final blow. If the Indian company buys this its not going to bring back the Jag.

Ford bought a smelly turd years ago, tried to squirt some perfume on it and it still stunk, now they going to dump it.... good move I say.... Kinda like Mercedes and crysler I guess....
