.... nothing to brag about, it is a previous model....
LOL, listen to your wife.

if I wasn't aware about what you said about 19" wheel, from your 2nd photo, I thought you are on your spares steel wheel.

Those 20s are huge, but I think your car is lowered enough to pull it off tho.

A Munich plate on an MB is just so wrong.

What wheels came on the car?

Any chance your directional tires are mounted backwards? It looks like the way they're mounted, water would be channeled inwards instead of outwards.

And what size tires are those? To me, the sidewall looks too big for 20's. I think you should be running 245/30/20 and 285/25/20. You can even run 275/25/20 in the back.

Shouldve bought my silver Brabus VI in 19's and done away with the flat black. I usually don't say this but your wife was right!

I actually like the stealthy look. Lower the car a lil more and you're good to go.

His tires do look way to beefy for 20's!

I like it --- to a point. I do think they are big, the sidewall on the tires doesn't look right. Also, I think these would have looked even better in GLOSS black vs. Flat. Flat works on some cars, but when you have a glossy-black car it looks odd.

Regardless, nice ride.

I'm have to agree with everyone else. I think that it looks too much to have all black wheels. It would look better if the lip was not black.

side wall looks a little large and the car needs a little bit more lowering... BUT I THINK ITS HOT... to continue the trend I would also smoke out your tail lights... but I def think your car looks bad ***, two thumbs up from me

It looks good man, its good to see something a little different. The black face/chrome lip look is played out. If it was my car I'd add a red vinyl time attack strip and black out the grille/side markers

But what about the tire size question? What size tires are you running? From the pics, it looks like the wrong sizes.

2007 S550 (S65 Package)
they're not that bad lookin but b/c i had experience with black on black i had to go with silver. anyways if you got them for a hell of a deal then just go and get them redone at a chrome shop or something. silver with black inserts on the stems would look really hot on the car.

Yeah, as I expected. Your overall rolling diameter is wrong since the tire sizes are off. You should be running 245/30/20 and 275/25/20 to keep the same rolling diameter as stock. It's not that big of a deal, just keep in mind that your speedometer is 4% too slow. Meaning, when your speedometer says 60, you're actually traveling 62.4. And the gap between displayed and actual speed will increase exponentially with higher speed. I think this may also affect the ESP/traction control computer too. The good news is, your ride will be a little smoother than if you were running the correct tire size due to the taller sidewall.

This tire size calculator may help:

All that said, I don't think the wheels look bad. In life, I like things that are different, and that look is definitely different. Enjoy.

I would have left the lip polished or chrome but still it looks good. If you are going to do the black out theme, tint the red part only of the tail lights and tint the orange sidemarkers.

Benz-O your a wealth of knowledge

Love that calcualator Dude!

As far as the wheels go 001kz +2 on the red lip and +1 on the blacked out grill and markers.

thanks for the info.
i think that is why a cop gave me a ticket tonight with the speed indicated a little bit higher than what was on the speedometer. freaking guy was sneaky. did not have the radar on; turned it on only when he saw me. my V1 detected it right away (because i saw a red blinking light ahead of me, but(it was dark in the middle of nowhere) and it was too late to break. gonna get that letter soon, then court and traffic school.

anyhow, the ride is def more comfortable than i expected.
but the handling is much much better on 20s, i didnt think it was going to make such a difference.

by the way...do u think these wheels might fit ML?

i had the combo u r suggesting before. i wanted something different this time.

orange sidemarkers will be painted soon as well as some chrome parts on the rear of the car. thinking about painting the letters and the merc sign in the back in flat black. 08s just have way too much chrome in the back.

the tail lights i had tinted on my previous w211, kinda got tired of that look.
