Figure this was worth posting, custom cutouts for the dual exhaust tips on my 2005 E320 CDI. Unfortunately, I was rearended or more liked bumped which cracked the rear bumper and nothing else. Well, it may have been a blessing. While it was in the bodyshop (The Works), they helped to "lift" the exhaust tips higher by inch and widened the cutouts. These look much better than hanging below the bumper. Pictures were taken at ground level.
is that a different exhaust or just tips? good job

just go all out and get a e55 bumper and exhaust.

With that being said, what's the impact of just changing tips?
How's the sound if you change the tips but keep everything stock?
What's the impact to performance? Is the back pressure impacted to hit performance?

Yeah that looks not too good! just go and buy a repo e55 bumper and some more "legit" looking tips and you'll be all smiles
