Definitive diagnose, need to have someone pull fault codes using MB diagnostics, may need to perform air release routine. Attached bulletin covers routine failure.
MBUSA extended SBC warranty to 25 years/unlimited mileage even though you may not be experiencing problems diagnose/repair may be free depending if qualifying fault codes are found otherwise all is at cost.

Here is the sound clip... the banging is me pressing on the pedal, with the volume up on an empty radio station. This is with the car in park I must add. Vehicle is not moving.

Did You happen to experience the exact same issue? even while idling or when the drive is in Park? And it was only through the radio?
