Black Matte, Flat Black
For some reason I am really loving these colors. Although I have never seen it in person, the pictures I have seen look amazing!!!!! Anyone have or seen a w211 in either color? Only concern would be to make sure it does not look to ghetto, but at the same time if done right, it might look real unique. Also how much do you think a paint job like that would be?????

Never seen one and any other cars I have seen that are flat or matte finish just look like they are painted with primer and need real paint. Not my taste. I also suspect the resale value of any car repainted matte or flat would be very low -- a matter of supply and demand.

CLk 500 converted in to a Clk 63
The paint job cost $12,000. It Looks So sick well worth it. Platinum motorsports does the best jobs. I just put the clk 63 body kit on it (not the Black Edition). The interior is going to be Black suide with red stiching. Ill be done with my project in 2 weeks cant wait to show pics.

Not my taste. It looks like the color painted on test prototype cars (another words, PRIMER). Alb's pic shows that it looks like crap in sunlight. It reminds me of ricer paint without decals.

Matte Black MMB
Anybody that equates a real matte black paint job with a flat black spray can job, has not seen them side-by-side.
A true, well done matte black finish has a black undercoat, but that is not the final finish. The final coats are a high quality matte clear that gives the finish a depth that you may not feel in the photos. It is an ENTIRELY different look than the matte look of black primer.
Once you see it done properly, in person, you may realize how incredibly sick a *good* matte black finish looks. Nothing like the crappy paint jobs you've seen on cheap ricers. It's not an easy DIY paint job, it's far harder to do properly (with a perfectly even finish) than a gloss finish.
It's more along the lines of doing a perfect translucent pearl finish. Not for amateurs.
