It MAY be just my imagination, but...

It seems like every time I'm around 1400-1800 rpm's (which is where I usually stay while driving normally), the car slightly vibrates in the cabin as well as the whole car.

Is it just me or has this happened to anyone else? My transmission seems like its shifting perfectly.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
PetePap

Is your phone on vibrate?

Sorry for the pointless post, just couldn't resist...

Could it be my tires are mis-balanced?

I was going to say that, it may need balancing. Have you ever replace the front or rear tires? Try that and see if that eliminates the vibration.

Happen at any speed? Meaning, regardless of speed and gear, does it only happen between 1400-1800 rpm? Or when it's in cruising gear and between those RPMs?

Off balanced tires wouldn't cause the entire car to vibrate unless one was flat! Also, the vibration would only be in the steering wheel, usually anywhere between 45-60 mph. Does it feel kinda like a misfire or hesitation in the engine??? How many miles on the car???

It almost feels like when I'm "cruising" at that RPM, usually between 30 and 40 MPH. Am I going crazy?

Not really a misfire or hesitation at all. Trans seems perfect. There is only like 34K miles on the car. Its a really weird feeling..VERY subtle.

BTW: Like your new ride! ;-)

Thanks Pete, like yours too! Well, my E500 now has a very slight off idle and so does a buddy of mine's 04 E500. It isn't felt all the time and it's very subtle but sometimes it happen at stand still or when coming to a stop. I don't notice it while I'm driving much though. My mechanic checked everything and couldn't find anything wrong. Is the electrical okay in the car?

I notice I idle at like 600 RPMs at a dead stop from day 1. Is that normal? Also, my electric is perfect (now). I had to replace the radio and the airbag sensor for the passenger seat.

Yeah, I think that's okay. I'm having some consumers electrical issues but easy to resolve through warranty for a voltage regulator and also need the small consumer battery under the cabin filter under the hood.

Hmmm, with miles that low I can't figure out what could be causing that funny shake or idle issue.
