LCD problem - anti reflective gone?
I am not sure if anyone else did this before. I cleaned the LCD screen with some glass cleaner then I used some screen wipes and now it looks pretty bad. I think the anti glare or anti reflective shield is gone on parts.. the screen looks like it has lots of scratches. When is off it looks bad. When is on you can't really see.
Any advice, how this could be fixed?
Thanks!

I use sunglasses cleaner from the Sunglass Hut that I use on my sunglasses, and a clean, microfiber cloth. Always spray the cleaner on the cloth, NOT the display, and use sparingly. Works great and is streak free.

I'd agree... I sprayed on the glass. I cleaned it many times.. not sure why today and I did use glass or lens cleaner. It's possible that in time I took off the antiglare. Funny thing, in the book it tells you how to clean every piece of the book but the LCD.
One thing is clear you cannot make it very clean, cause that is what I tried! So people slow down in cleaning that screen too well.
I will talk to the dealer when I go to service. I will post what I get.

I'd love to know what the dealer tells you. My pre-owned car came with little spots and lines, looks to me like was sprayed directly. Do let us know what the dealer tells you Buzescu. Thanks

I was able to get mine clean!
Get a new microfiber clothe(radio shack has them for about $2), ball it up, and rub the screen, without any cleaner. After a while you'll notice the streaks and marks start to go away.
Seems primitive but it worked.

No luck. I did exactly what you said.. but is not working. It really feels I took out a layer of something. After about 15 minutes of absolutely no result I gave up and I took a glass cleaner, sprayed on the cloth and rubbed again. Now I took more out of that layer, it's all a patch in the middle of the screen and in light the screen looks white, or very shiny versus the corners that are still black.
I will talk to the dealer see what they say.
Thanks!
