Does anyone know the procedure to follow for changing the oil in the new 7 speed transmission??? I do not find anything in the search.

I like to change it now and not wait until 100,000 miles for it to blow up, like in my E320W !!!

You need a special adapter to fill the trans since there is no fill tube on top. This adapter is suppose to be used in conjunction with their filling machine made by SPX. The adapter screws into the pan.

Yes, Dealer's servicing is fine, but I enjoy servicing my own cars when it is possible...
If the transmission leaks, how do you check the level without a diptube/dipstick? (I bought a special dip stick for my old 5 speed automatic transmission).
What does that "Special Adapter" look like and what is the part number?
Is there some other way to fill the transmission with a know quantity of fluid?
Is there a part number for the "Servicing DVD" ?
