Help me!! locked key in trunk

So i did something so dumb. I closed the trunk with my key fob inside. I called AAA and they unlocked the door for me but I cant unlock the trunk. Is there any over ride or any way to get in there or to open it up? Its night time now and the inside lights are on and wont go off. If I wait for mercedes tmw I'll have a dead battery too. Any thoughts???

Call MBUSA and see if they can unlock it via TeleAid. I think they can unlock doors, so I don't see any reason why the trunk wouldn't unlock.

**Wait** I just read your post again. If your doors are unlocked, the trunk should be unlocked too. They lock and unlock together. Plus you could always hit the 'trunk open' button on your door.

Does the trunk release switch on the driver's door not work? Did you manually lock the trunk with the metal key?

The "unlock" button on the dash does nothing and neither does the trunk button on the door. My seats dont fold down either. I tried all these things. Its very odd. The radio turns on as do the headlights but there is no power it seems to the unlock button and trunk open on the door.

I don't think TeleAid will work unless he's had the new module put in for the digital signals.

Try lock and unlock the car from inside and then press the trunk open button.

if someone has used the metal key to turn the lock to the override position (prevents valets from going in the trunk) you cannot open the truck via the trunk release inside the car, nor can you lower the seats since the release is inside the trunk. He needs to take his vin number and ID to his dealer and get a metal key made. MB is very strict about this (rightfully so) so be prepared to prove ownership of the vehicle...

The unlock buttons arent working because the alarm is still armed. You need to call roadside. There is a way to get into the trunk that they should know. Should take them about 20 seconds...
