i need help with my keys quick!!!
ok check it out....
i pulled up to a classic car parts shop today and decided to leave the car started with the a/c going because it was hotttttt.so by the time i get back i some how lost my last spare key. so i figured while the car was started i would just go home and kill the car and deal with it in the morning.
i was on my way home when all of a sudden the car just dies in the middle of the street.
so now i am waiting on my tow company to pick this car up....
here is my question, if i buy a key off of ebay and take it to MB or my local MB mechanic can they reprogram it to my car ?
the reason i wanna buy it off of ebay is because the dealers want $300 each and ebay want's $65.

No. A SmartKey must be ordered from the dealer, who will supply the VIN to get an already programmed smartkey.
Its part of the reason MBs are harder to steal. (Excluding flat bedding one away).

Any AMG Thats Around..
and make sure you tell the counterman that its keyless go... i have seen dealers order non-keyless go keys for keyless cars.... then where does that discarded key go?
