RE: Trunk Money

Suggest that you check Edmunds.com weekly for the latest information on rebates, incentives, etc. I would expect Trunk Money will be forthcoming before too long.

Already checked Edmunds and Carsdirect, nothing. When we got the sedan last year they didn't reveal anything about trunk money when '06 E500's had $10K+ trunk money. So, I don't think it's factored by them.

No E-Class has ever had $10K worth of trunk money...ever

Are you sure you aren't mistaken?

Might have $10K been your overall discount?

E class is $5k right now, but MB isn't gonna throw it out unless you ask for it.

I may be wrong in using the term "trunk money" but, in Jan/Feb '07 MB(USA?) was kicking back $10K+ to dealers in the Metro NY area on new leftover(?) E500 sedans.

We were offered 2 different ones with stickers of $63-64K for $49K period.

I wasn't crazy about the colors and no bixenon, nor did I like the MPG's on the V8.

Now, you can believe what you want but, that's the straight truth. Which is the reason why I posed this question now concerning leftover '08 E350 wagons.
Granted, this is different now cuz it's not an entire change like the E500 going to the E550

Made a mistake, checked old notes and sticker on those two E500's was $66-67K, which was a BIG discount

There might not be any on wagons, since there is usually such a small inventory of them around. In any event, if you're buying a wagon from inventory, I hope you like silver or black with black MB tex and no bi-xenons, because that's usually what dealers keep in stock by way of wagons.
