2006 E-350 (W211) SAS (airmatic) "visit workshop"

I have "visit workshop" message in dashboard in my 2006 E-350 (W211) with the sign of raise the car. However my the airmatic (SAS) works very fine, car is not low (in normal position); and can be lower or raised. Driving is fine, no notice of problem. What can be wrong? Please help, thanks in advance.

Difficult to say anything without having fault codes read.

It could be one of the level sensors as those have redundancy (if one reading fails, the car can operate with the other) or it could be an air leak making the compressors work harder than it should. I guess the compressor too if it took too long to gain full pressure at the reservoir.

That's because you are from the US. In Europe you can get Airmatic for an E200CDI.

Is it not available with any sports package in the US? It used to be so, you can find US E320 cars with Airmatic.

In the US, Airmatic was optional on th E320/350 until 2006. For the 2007 facelift, a large number of options were eliminated from all 211, including the airmatic option for 6cyl gas.

the code is 5250 (in Sweden), it indicates Y53/Y53y2 valve problem? I'm not sure it if is true? can one trust computer diagnostic 100%? the car has run less than 60,000 kms.

No, you cannot always trust diagnosis fault codes blindly even if a fault code would often tell the exact issue.

This is the left rear solenoid valve for the shocks damping control. I'm guessing the connector is not good, you could at least check it. In any case the rear is better as the shocks come separately, if the actual valve is faulty, you would not have to change the whole strut.

You may feel the suspension being fine but it is likely that one of the shocks is not adjusted correctly, it just does not make that big difference that you would immediately notice it.

I had the same issue last month. The dealer said there was a leak somewhere, but they could not find it. They told me there were a bunch of error codes somewhere (I forget the name of the part), so they cleaned it up. As I drove off, the "visit workshop" message came back. They ended up changing out the Airmatic pump under warrany, and I haven't had issues since.
