marvel mystery oil
is it safe to use in mercedes e320 with fuel and oil as recommended by marvel mystery oil ( 40z in 10 gallons of fuel) and 8oz with 8 quarts of oil ofcourse sbstracting the 8 oz.)?

I have seen that stuff recommended but I would not use it in my W210. Mercedes now approves of a couple of fuel additives (Chevron Techron and a MB labelled one) but as far as I know, no oil additives are approved for use.

nothing added to the oil
unless you use oil flush and idle 10 minutes before oil change.
Seafoam brand or techron cleaner in a tank of gas yearly is fine.

Ditto ohlord, I forgot about the oil system cleaners. Do you have a recommended brand of those? BG makes something that the Chrysler tech percolated through my Plymouth, but I didn't ask for the specifics.

brand or a guart of kerosene from lowes or the hardware store.put it in the oil idle engine only for 10-15 minutes shut down let engine cool for an hour till just luke warm oil and get out the topsider or whatever suction device you use.
