Ashtray delete option

Ashtray delete option
Even though the dealer couldn't find an ashtray delete option for the front ashtray, I ordered the small rubber mat insert that makes this area into a useable space. MB part number A211 683 00 51 Costs four dollars and some change! I am posting this for other non-smokers that have been unable to find this part number.

See my post on this a few months ago with photos. Removing the ash tray makes for a nice storage area, and the rubber mat keeps stuff in there from sliding around.

Thanks Oggie
That's where I read it a few week ago, but when it came time to find it again, I must have suffered a brain fart and couldn't locate the post.
Thanks again - I wasn't trying to steal your thunder!

I thought smoking was a lot less common in the US compared to European countries like Germany, Spain or even France. Odd if you don't get the car by default with this non-smoker option.
