Any word on Panoramic roof for wagon?

If MBUSA allows a panoramic roof to be specified for the new E Wagon it would add a great deal of spice to the looks of the car.

Those taillights make me wonder if the picture was photoshopped. I doubt MB would leave the taillights the same as the old model.

In our part of the globe E Class Wagon sales have dropped a lot over the last 5 years or so due to the increase in 4WD cars such as the ML,X5 and others.

The E Class Wagon is fast becoming a scarse car on our roads today!!

Is this legit?

Edit: Can't be, the new E wagon comes to the U.S. as a 3.5L V6 right?

Supposedly called E350T

There is no 3.5L....if you're refering to the possible future of the E350, that's a 3.7L. Also, no one knows when that car is supposed to be coming, if ever.

[Off on a tangent] Yeah - apparently there's no 3.5L for the E-class. Before I ordered my E320 (in November 2002) I checked with my dealer to make sure that it won't be superseded pretty soon by a new E350. My dealer produced a letter from Daimler Crysler Australia addressed to dealers, confirming that there is no plan for the 3.5L engine for the E-class. Apparently the 3.2L engine has 'adequate power' for the E-class ...

My dealer said that MB will not introduce the E350,if at all, until at least 2004 or later.

the Wagon will have the "old style" rear-light. we have brochures and price lists here, it looks really sharp and will definately be a top-seller in germany. price is ~3000 € over the sedan.

first pics of the E55 T look awsome! and 4matic will introduced in fall 2003.

Herzlichsten Dank

Felix,

Many, many thanks - I am absolutely drooling over the new wagon! Of course, in Germany you will have a larger selection of engines, including the new diesels, but maybe MB-USA is reading this website and sees the interest on these boards for the diesel engine here in the US!

Best,

Kevin
