2006 E320 CDI
New E320 CDI Owner
Hey all,
New to this forum and MB. Just picked-up a white '06 E320 CDI with 22K on the clock. I was interested in this car since they first came out, and finally purchased one thru MB's CPO program. Car is in very nice condition and can't wait to take it on some long trips. Prior to purchase, I did some reading thru past threads, and appreciate everyone's input. Look forward to contributing to the forum!

Thanks Polar Bear. The only concern I have with this car is from the threads I've been reading about the brakes wearing extremely fast (pads and rotors). Have you had any issues?

I did manage to get 860 miles on a tank before I ran out of guts and stopped for fuel, and averaged over 40MPG. I think you will really be happy with your car.

Just finished doing oil, filter, fuel filter, cabin filter and engine air filter on my new to me 06 E320 CDI with 35K on her. I am AR for base lining maintance of a new rig!
I also rotated the wheel to get a full inspection and my brake pads look like they have 50% left on them. They have not been replaced. Nothing has been done to this car for 35K except one oil change!
She is running smooth as silk. The PO never reset his mpg and it was reading 30 mpg avg for 35k. My experience is a 100 mile highway trip home from the dealer and got 40 mpg avg 67 mph speed! That is crazy and better than a VW Passat TDI at twice the car. Around town I am getting 25-28 mpg.
Very happy so far!
Next tires, flat hood badge, front grill.

I have almost 50k on my 2005 with mostly city/suburban miles and have not had to replace the front pads.

Also, I think you will be very pleased with the value the car holds over a period of time. Even with 70k+ miles, these cars still hold their value very well. People don't seem to be as scared of the Diesel powered vehicles as much as the gas when they get a few miles on them.
