Residual Value for Lease

What is a fair residual value on a E500 lease?

I got 0.65 for 39 months/15K miles per year lease.

I was quoted the same and I also shopped around. The rates offered to me were in CT. Good luck

Maybe I will finance instead, since interest rates are hovering around 4.5% right now. I still have a few months to decide.

No, no, I meant 1,000 miles per month, not $1,000 per month...

Mine is E500 - E3 sport package, drive dynamic, active ventilated, split rear seat, power rear sunshade, and CD changer - 12k miles (39000 miles total, not 36000), 6k down (4k cap reduction, rest closing costs, tax, whatever) 39 months, $800.97/mo. tax included.

That's what I did - 4.5% rate to buy which is right around what a lease would cost. Plus, if you take good care of the car, you would be the one benefitting from its resale, not the lessor.

Lease Rates

You may want to check out the following web site for available lease rates ;
www.leasecompare.com
They offer very low lease money factors, which equate to low interest rates. (Take lease money factor and multiply by 24 for effective interest rate). On the other hand the residual is usually lower.
When I aquiured my new E320, I told the dealer that I planed on using this service. Within 24 hours, the Sales Director was able to find equivalent lease factor with local bank, which was at 60% of what MB financing had available. Having local lease financing did save me the hassle of coordinating a third party.
If you want low cost of money, and reasonable negative cash flow, this may be an option.
