W211 bi-xenon retrofit question
I've perused the archives for info but didn't find some of the exact info I was looking for and hoped to get a direct answer from a helpful fellow W211 guy quick

I'm looking for bi-xenons for my '06 non-xenon equipped car. Bought the car used, though I'd have them, the car arrived and they weren't there.
What is involved in installing the OE Hella bi-xenon headlight assemblies? Is it just plug and play? Any programming or wiring that has to happen?
Any drawbacks?
I found a new set for around $1350. Anyone know how many hours of labor should the dealer be able to do it in? 3-4?
thanks very much in advance!
Marc

then a trip to a Dealer or INDY to have the car version coded to Xenon Present via the SDS aka Star diag
There is a DIY on the front bumper R/R then swap the headlights out
Dealer will charge at least 3.0 Hours (IF) they would even do the job as Most Dealers do not like doing that kind of work..As MOST Dealers say the wire harness is different ...Same harness ...

Is the end result just as good as if it were original?
Problem should be solved next week though!
