Guys, can you add the whole Keyless Go thing to a non keyless go car?
If so, have any of you done it or heard of it being carried out successfully?

I believe it's possible but would cost you about the same as a used C-Class.

Can it be done - yes. Reasonably? No.

it is pretty expensive to do. too many additional control modules, wiring, antennas and most importantly, obtaining kg keys.

Its worth it to order it from the factory, 100%. As I remember from years ago posts, the retro cost is absurd... You could drive a WHOLE YEAR free (12,000 miles/yr at 18 MPG average, at $3.10/gal,) for less than the retrofit cost.
