E320-CDI (2006)
A 06' 320-CDI with 17k on it They want 35k -- which I think is "ok," but would like to know what other people have been able to do. Asking was 37.9k the salesmen says this is the best they can do since they 37k into it.
Also, have people been able to negotiate other freebies?
Thank you in advance, I currently own a C280-4matic I got from the IRS so no idea on negotiation it had 26k miles on that, and I got it for 17.4 (2006 also).
Thanks again,
Phil
PS Also they are telling the 16" all season tires will be okay in Winter. We live in the city is this ok? How would 17" or 18" wheels do?
MBUSA also discourages changing wheels on the CDI.
Thanks for the reply, any other comments would be appreciated.
Phil
Also, have you looked over the car for paintwork? It can still be CPO'ed with paintwork previously performed, as long as there has been no frame damage.
I would say that the price would be good as long as you negotiate two or three years on the warranty, and assuming there has been no paintwork and you are satisfied with the optional equipment. Also, you can have them print a VMI and view the previous warranty work to see if it has been a "problematic" car.
Does it have Navigation, Heated Seats, etc? I am not sure what the "Premium Package 1" included in 2006. Split Folding Rear Seats? Rear Sunshade? Bi-Xenon lighting? If you PM me the VIN I can get you the Datacard on it, which will outline all if the options and will provide you with the original In-Service date.
Sorry it has 28k miles instead of 18k, and a wood steering wheel.
