Hey, thank you so much!! I appreciate that

I actually got them Tinted by a reputable Tint shop, they use a special, much thicker Tint for the lights than they do the windows, cost me about $50-$60 each if I remember correctly (also did the third break light and the two front bumper stripes for a bit extra), but made huge difference, just look so clean IMO. I've always thought the pre face-lift lights look amazing tinted with the two white strips open.

Post a pic. I'm up for it if it looks good and will also fit MY09.

No, thankfully. Here's to hoping I don't ever get one too . With that, my Tints, and no front Plate it would be a huge hassle if I got a Ticket, I also still have my Dealer Plates on and have been meaning to put the real Plates on to take away as much reason for Police to hassle me as possible. But I accidentally ran a Red Light and got camera flashed, now I'm thanking my lucky stars I kept the Dealers Plates on, hehe.

Here's a Link to a Thread of the guy who did the CF grille on the W204, go to the last page. Personally, I don't like it at all, makes it look like a 90's fixed up Toyota or something to me (Just IMO).

A buddy of mine just got a fix it for smoked tails on his E90 M3. Watch out.

Thanks for the link. I agree. Plus I don't want CF. I want something that fits the lines of the E and the rounded lamps, etc.. Looks okay on the W204, but you're right, not good for the E.

Yikes. Did he just have to pay a fine or did they make him take it off too?

K-A, turns out he got a fix it for his window tints (Huper Optik, not dark but still obviously on there.) But he got a real ticket for the smoked tails. It's a 26101 from the DMV. http://dmv.ca.gov/pubs/vctop/d12/vc26101.htm

I've had window tints in the past and never a problem. Just luck of the draw, I guess.

Jeez that sucks. I guess it's all luck of the draw with what Cop you come across. Does real Ticket mean like a moving violation, i.e points on his record?

Yeah, luck of the draw. Not a moving violation but a hefty fine. Around here cops don't care too much but be careful when you leave SoCal. My friend got his on the way to the Bay area....
