There is no adapter harness because the Comand always needs an AGW at the trunk, it is the audio amplifier and has speaker wiring. AGW also takes the radio antenna cable. Your current Audio 20 CD unit has the radio tuner and audio amplifier integrated.
You could buy an AGW unit but it still takes a lot of wiring to be done (from front to back, and probably vice versa). Now that people are installing NTG2.5 units, ebay may have cheap AGWs. But the NTG2.5 Comand would have been the right choice for you, it still likely is. This would give you hard drive based navigation (for your current Comand you would still need the trunk navi processor), BT handsfree, voice control I believe and it is almost a plug and play installation (see old posts on that).

More than "some wire":
18 speaker wires, 2 can wires, power/ground/most wake up, MOST cables, nav ant lead, am/fm ant leads---
or you may be able to just plug in a ntg2.5 COMAND and install a bluetooth ant ($25) and Nav retrofit ant (tapes b/h cluster $35) and call it a day!

Sorry MB211, was just really frustrated because, I was assured it would be a plug in.
Waited a long time and paid a lot for it, so very disappointed.
If I got the AGW from you, what about the harness?
What would you want for it please?

I would highly encourage you to rethink your idea and place your COMAND back on the market and search for the NTG 2.5.

Hi PB,
The thing is, being in Bombay, I have to deal with NASTY customs and taxes and have to depend on someones good favor to carry it down for me.
I kid you not, I would have to pay $500 in duty!
That's the only reason I have to make do with what I have now![Frown](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
I could sneak in the agw because its small and they wouldn't have a clue what on earth it is.
Wires would pose no problem, but if they saw a LCD!!

The install would be done at a friends place who runs a rockford, mb quart and boston dealership. I had reverse sensors installed in quite literally 10mins
The install is not what I'm worried about, I'm worried that, after I get the agw and the harness, it may not work still.

PB, apart from the AGW and the wiring would I require anything else? I don't need the Nav part because there is no nav dvd for this region.
Where would the cd changer fibre optic cable and the radio FM cable go if the AWG is in the trunk
How much would I get if I sold my COMAND? And how much would a NTG2.5 cost me? .

I don't know how much you would get if you sold your COMAND - I have seen them sell as low as $800USD and some for much more - $1200 or more.
Anything is doable, but since the NTG 2.5 is plug and play for the most part, and is a much better system it sounds like the money you save by not purchasing all of the wiring, AGW, and installation labor could be put toward the NTG 2.5 unit and you would end up with a much better system overall, with a DVD changer.

I have the factory AM/FM ant cable to go from the ant amp (LR c-pillar) to the AWG. You would need to extend all the speaker wires to the AGW and reroute the 2 CAN wires to the AGW. The AGW would also have to be on the MOST ring (2 fiber optic and 1 wake-up)---these 3 wires may already be in trunk?---
Funny----I spent an entire day wiring my car to how yours came factory to install a NTG2.5 radio---it would be very much easier.
I would take $450 for the AGW (I can throw in the 2 ant cables and the wire connectors that I cut off)

Looks like it, but the AGW is a US version. Do we use the same FM/AM frequencies you do?
The harness looks like it would save you some time.
