I'd love to help you let me know. The C class community would love this. Idk if you remembered but I had originally ordered the Schatz CF kit for the W204 and when it came it was the smaller 6 piece package instead of the 10+ peice package I thought I was getting. Needless to say, for the $3900 they charged me I sent it back and told them to keep it haha. I may turn around and have all my cars done depending on how this looks installed and the quality of the final product. As of right now, it is looking like a Go for the CL interior next. That will truly be something special as the CL is my everyday and it is something I've longed for in there forever. I've seen very very few carbon interior W215's ever and it sure would be nice to have something like that set it apart from the rest like this will for the E Class. I wonder just how many W211's are fitted with carbon fiber interiors in the country? I'm guessing its very few. I really enjoy the exclusivity of a project like this. It really isn't something you see everyday.

Oh! I just saw you got rid of the C300? What happened with that? Well GL with the CLK. You just missed my AMG quads that would have been a great start on a sports packaged 209.

Looks good. I'm definitely interested in CF interior and can't wait to see yours completed. What is the cost for such replacement?

Lovn it.
+1 on approximate price. It would be rad if he sold complete sets of W211 CF interior. That would be my next project. But first...... i have to get the rest of my kit on.

Between 1000-1300 depending on whether or not you have a slider cover that requires a bit more work. If not, your looking like more on the low end of this scale. The sliding cover is being done now pictures will be up soon. Thanks for checking in

Wow that is a good deal! Yes I do have the slider cover. The only issue is that my car is my DD so I would have to find another interior set somewhere so that I need not have any downtime.

Same situation as you, so I bought a second set off a member here in the classfieds. Was a great buy! $500 for the whole set! If you have burl interior right now, I may be willing to donate mine for wrapping for the time being once I get the carbon installed. Then, upon return, and install to you, you can send me yours. Let me know as I have no problem to help you out as long as you send it back to me at some point. PM me and we can talk about it some more if you like.

How did they remove the chrome trim? Looks like it was grinded down, but how do you reuse it then?

to be honest I'm not sure how that is done but I'll be sure to ask. In the meantime another package showed up for me today and I figured since they are parts of the interior upgrade I might as well take a few shots of them to show you guys. Let me know what you think. Know it doesn't look like much now but I think it will be nice when its all finished. Let me know what you think. The third picture is a better indication of what it will look like when it is put together. Hopefully I'll have some pictures of the slider cover later these evening. Stay tuuuuned haha.

How? The look or just the strength?

New Updates

Hey Guys,
Just got word today that things are just about finished. Took a little longer than expected because the guys weren't happy with how the slider cover came out the first time, so, they did it again. They included some pictures of the first time around and then the finished product. Should ship back out to me on Friday. Unfortunatly my girlfriend slid the car into the curb pretty hard this morning coming around a turn and did some pretty decent suspension damage. Should take about a week to repair. Stay tuned! BTW the 3rd picture is of somewhere along the process of the bad one. Here is the process they used to create it.

Process:

soaked 6 strips of 19oz fabric in epoxy, Compressed while curing. remove wax paper, sand, trim, lay one strip of 12oz, layer with resin. sand, clearcote. cut, trim, put backing on and drill holes for handle. presto. Full Carbon consol storage cover.

Yes this shift knob lights up orange. You actually can choose which top you want they send multiple pieces you kinda just pop them in there. One for manual and one for automatic.

Thanks guys I appreciate it. So I haven't gotten to installing this yet because my slider cover, the final piece to arrive to me has been accidentally shipped to another well known member on the forums. Fortunately, he was nice enough to send it back and I should have it by Wednesday. I'm pretty eager to get this all in the car hopefully this weekend you'll be able to see an installed finished product. Maybe the 4matic springs will go in this wknd too. Ill keep you posted.

I'm actually not 100% on that one but if I had to guess it would either be from the shift column itself where the gear select lights from or possible the 12v outlet or the power source off the light for the ashtray. There are plenty of places that would work. Obviously you only want it to come on with the headlights so maybe the gear select power source would be most suitable. I

'm excited for everything to go in. New lights, new look should be real nice. I have Brabus door sills on order as well and from what I understand they light up blue. Should be pretty cool when its all finished. I'd like to do the Brabus speedo but they ask like $3,500 to recalibrate it and remove the VMax I just can't see shelling out that much for that. Its also something like 10 days downtime while waiting to get it back from Germany. Stay tuuuuned.
