Question about DD Seats, do they offer Inflated Thigh Support?
I was reading a brochure of an '05 E-Class, which states that the DD Seats offer Air Inflated Thigh Support along with the Lumbar Support. Is this true and if so which of the myriad of buttons works it?
Also, while I'm on the subject, I usually don't like to mess with all the DD buttons as I don't want to lose the pressure setting I have it at now, I just use the Pulse button to Massage once and a while. But what do the other buttons do that the Pulse doesn't?
Thanks.

The other buttons will basically inflate pretty much every bolster on the chair and hold it there. While the pulse button, inflates and deflates each bolster giving you a massaging affect.

That's amazing, thanks!! I'm gonna go mess with the left-right toggle when I get to my car. I love these seats!!

I was pretty ignorant about the DD seats and I didn't have an owners manual on my used E350, but was able to snag the online one once I registered with MBUSA. I must say, its probably the coolest thing I've had on a car. It's especially noticeable when cornering.

Honestly, these DD Seats are another confirmation to me that I made the better choice by getting a pre face-lift over the face-lift. My favorite option the car comes with. Especially for one with sensitive backs.

Yes, benz-o is right.
The buttons most forward right above the dynamic button control the thigh support. On our CL, it doesn't have the dynamic feature, however the same button that controls the thigh support on the E instead controls a upper most back inflator (3rd back inflator), since the CL, like the S and SL, has a seperate switch that moves the thigh support forward and back. I miss that feature, it was the bomb.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know what dictates how long the "Dynamic" Feature stays on? I always have it on when I'm driving, and sometimes it'll stay on for weeks before it turns itself off, but recently it's been going off after I shut the car off it seems....

It should stay on until you turn it off, but mine does the same thing. It'll stay on for months, then all of sudden, I'll have to turn back on every couple of days. Then it'll go back to staying on for months.

Haha. Good to know. I guess it has a mind of its own. Hopefully it'll go back to staying on for long periods of time.
