WOW didn't realize how small the CLS was.
Went to the dealer to check out some CLS models and WOW was I surprised at how little the CLS is. It's much lower and smaller than I expected(I was expecting it to be just as big as the S class. Still a beautiful looking design but does anybody have a pic of a CLS next to an w211(didn't get a chance to drive my car out to the dealer)?

Yeah I realized it was build on the E class platform(I mistakenly though the CLK was as well because of the similarities in appearance). But it appeared to be much lower in body height as well(due to the roof as well) and more cramped in seating room in the front and of course the back. I guess I was expecting a larger coupe.

I know exactly what' your're talking anout. The car feels smaller both in interior and exterior compared to the W211. I'm 5'10" and I feel tall inside the car! Still IMHO one of Mercedes' sexiest designs ever...

CLS is a complete copy of E-Class in terms of its controls and their layout.
It is much smaller, the front dash isnt that deep, and the back seems kinda cramped.
But regardless of all these reasons, it is still sexy as hell.
The only car in the same sexyness league is The BMW 6-series.
P.S. Is sexyness even a word?

I keep seeing people use the word "sexy" to describe the CLS. I dunno, if I had to use a sexually-descriptive term in regards to my opinion of its styling, I'd have to go with "flacid"

I noticed people either love it or hate it. But I def. think "Sexy" is the best word to describe the styling. It's curved in the right places like my lady friend .

The CLS is sexy, refined, and a very nice car. Like anything else, it does not fit everyone.
BTW- I can see out of the windows just fine.

i can see pretty good out of the cls windows too. i have both an E and CLS and visibility out of the windows ain't much different between the two. The look of the cls from outside is quite different from sitting inside.

Yeah, I was thinking about buying one of these but, it was impossible to get anyone to sit behind me, granted i am 6 3, but still looks beautiful and i would love to have one.

Saw a bone stock white CLS63 on my way to Costco today. Got a little chubby.
Sexiest 4 door car on the road today, IMO.

I definitely have seen some I've liked, just the styling doesn't rub me the right way. I also personally think it will look dated faster than the average car, as it's a very stylish and "now" car (traits that make things look dated faster). I really do have high hopes for the face-lifted version though, as I think they will (hopefully) evolve such a successful car properly.
