DIY rattle fixes?
One is coming from somewhere beneath the dashboard (I think from below the a/c unit) and rattles a lot on bad roads (and we have a lot of those here in Belgium) and also when the throttle is past 1/2 in low rpm's.
Being a 4 cyl diesel, it vibrates a lot more offcourse, but that still doesn't mean it should rattle this much.
The other seems to be coming from the panoramic roof, like there's something loose in the light unit. But I'm not sure about that actually.
The dealer has only tried to fix these rattles for about a million times, but they're not very good at it.
In fact, it seems like they didn't even try.
I'm fed up with it and wanted to try it myself, but I don't have an idea where/how to start.
I allready tried to dissassemble the dashboard, but I can't remove the A/C unit because the wood trim needs to be removed too, to be able to reach the screws for the audio unit ?
I also tried to remove the wood, but it only slides an inch or so to the right and then it's totally stuck.
I hope you guys can help me with pictures, a detailed explanation or some exploded views because it's driving me nuts...
Anyway, now I need to know how to remove those other things

Konigstiger, I remember you posted something in regards to the cleaning of the pano roof.

This one is different, it's a real rattle from the interior, I think from the ceiling light unit.

The one in the roof appears to be completly fixed, there was 1 wire at each side which I believe to be the cause of the rattle. I've taped them to the housing and the rattle has stopped so far.
The one in the dashboard is a bit more tricky, the wood was quite a pain in the *** to remove, especially because of my fear for breaking it

The problem was/is the a/c unit as I expected. I think it's plastic vibrating against other plastic (around the area of the speaker), or just against the dash itself.
I fiddled about with it without actually doing something, screwed it tightly back in place and the vibration is definitly a lot less, but not completly gone.

The rattles are back though, it's driving me clinicly insane

Dashboard rattle goes away for a couple of minutes if you punch it, or if you push down on the piece between the a/c unit and the clock housing.
Pano roof rattle is incredibly annoying, seems to be coming from the rear part of the roof or the rolling curtain. Don't have an idea how to fix it...
