Would there be a market for V6 headers?

Lightbulb Would there be a market for V6 headers?

Just curious. I sure want some. The v8 guys have just recently been given some options so maybe we can get them to follow suit w/ the v6. Any thoughts here 350 guys?

It could be interesting. I would want to see/hear what they look/sound like. HP gains would be a big factor as well. Did you have a vendor in mind to talk to?

I think kleemann makes them for the M272 V6s, but not the M112 V6s. Check there site.

Depending on model yours is a car capable of 155mph on the autobahn.

Cars like that don't come with poor headers that some welder somewhere can improve on.

Application of 'merikun iron hot rod concepts is for the most part irrelevant to Mercedes.

Very true. The same was with the intake system. Many stated on this forum that it would be very minimal to update the intake system.

Kleemann also sells camshafts for like over $2k. Would does make a difference as I was wondering about that?

There would have to be considerable hp gains for me to fork over that amount of money for headers on a V-6.

Anything on these cars costs an arm and a leg

If I would buy anything, it would be for the low end power since that what this car really needs. Some more low end torque would be nice

So true. I guess for 2k I would either need more than a couple of horses or that money would be better spent elsewhere. Tires, exterior accents, etc.

Ya, the camshafts help for the mid and upper rev ranges. Not really worth it then.
