BMW purchase...
Can anyone recommend a reputable BMW dealer (preferably sales manager) that will offer no haggle invoice pricing to purchase an in stock 2009 M3 or 335i coupe/sedan inclusive of paying the last three lease payments – I am replacing my daughter’s 06 330.

Your first priority is to find a BMW with a good and honest service department.
Jacking around with hundreds of dollars on sales price is small stuff in comparison.
There's nothing less reliable than BMWs.

Interesting, must have "lucked out" with the 06 330 as it only required maintenance - not one problem. Now then whoever made the decision to equip these vehicles with run flat tires well that is discussion for another day!

I will NEVER look at a BMW seriously again until they get rid of those ridiculous tires.

09 M3 for your daughter, huh? I remember when I asked my dad for a used 06 M3? He looked at me like "do you think I was born yesterday?" I wanted an E55, but that was no good either, again the speed factor (I wish my mom would decide, lol, she'd let me buy a 911 turbo as long as it's in the price range ). I'd go for the 335, especially if it's for a girl, no offense to women. Also, it's not as "flashy" as the M3.
The new M3, IMO, is not worth it. With the old model, the 330 was 225 hp natural and the M3 was 325 (i think) horsepower natural. With the 335, the car has 300 horsepower twin turbocharged. With a couple of easy mods, the car will be at 400. Of course there are other factors such as brakes, exhaust, etc. but again, can be done on your own.

2006 Models are still considered new cars. Once BMWs get to around 5 years and a little 100k miles, thats when the problems show up. My experience with BMWs is a lot of little gremlins show up. Nothing major (yet) just little annoying things like bearings, cracked expansion tanks, pixels missing in odometer, swaybar links clicking, cv boots, etc. I've been making these small repairs at least once every other month. I've been wanting to get rid of it for a while but I'm so deep into the repairs that a couple of more things go bad and I have a pretty new car!

Konigstiger: I know I speak for many here when I say never EVER start a thread hinting you may buy another car that is not a MB..... I almost had a heart attack for God's sake! I'm going to get a drink...... JEEZ!
Good luck on your quest!

Not leaving anytime soon in “negotiation” with the wife contemplating the 212 really wanted a new 221 but alas, current economy will not permit or justify it. Currently all attention is on my two daughters between education costs for one, manipulating the housing market and orchestrating a BMW acquisition for the other.

Having said that; I love my E350 too!!

Incorrect. I believe its Boss/Memory first, then what Boss/Memory wants = second. In the end you were already out voted, could never gain majority, when you hooked up with Boss/Memory. Now you have 2 junior bosses/memories on top of that.

So, one can conclude with mathematical certainty, that while hard work and knowledge will get you close, and attitude will get you there, it is the *** kissing that will put you over the top.

That's pretty good that you are not having any problems with it. There was someone else on the board (can't remember the username) that had 3 or 4 BMWs and never had a problem with them. Unfortunately a lot of people that I know are having problems with them. I'm known to pop over to e90post every now and then and I see a lot of people having issues with their cars. It could also be that they are driving them really hard, who knows. It doesn't matter what kind of car you have; unreliable cars just put a damper on the whole car owning experience.

Hmm, I would replace my daughter’s E430 by 09 M3 without hesitation if could find a reliable dealer in SFBA willing to sell it at invoice price. MB is very good car, however reliability is questionable. BMW looks like solid rock car. I owned two for last four years and didn’t have any single problem. I heard that BMW becomes junk after expiration warranty, but who will keep a car for so long time?
