Hi all,
I'd like to pick up the bluetooth adapter for my 2007 E550 but I want to make sure that my iPhone will work with it. Everywhere I check says it's adaptable and it sounds like an easy install...pretty much plug and play but I just thought I'd doublecheck.

Any suggestions on whether to drop the $493 at the stealership or if I should go the ebay route? Or better yet, maybe someone here has a hook up?

 

If you have the cradle connector at the centre armrest compartment, plugging in the cradle is straightforward. But if you also wanted to make use of the "iPod music functions", you would need to route the iPod cable to the phone cradle I'm afraid.

 

i assume u have cradle... if so, then get viseeo BT puck...

I have the little plug thing in the center armrest that I think you just clip the bluetooth adapter to. Is that what you mean by cradle?

 

open center armrest and see if u have a square looking plastic piece in the middle which will hold phone/bluetooth cradles...

then u need the whole UHI kit which is bit pricey...
or go with mObridge BT kit which is significantly less and don't need cradle...
