2009 C300 Loaner Experience

2009 C300 Loaner Experience
I wrote a while back about the 07 C350 loaner I had and the 08 C300 loaner. The 09 C300 has experienced some decontenting which I can notice:
-No more one touch feature for closing windows and sunroof (tried numerous times)
-Ignition cylinder does not have a infrared sensor (it's just black)
-NO KICKDOWN BUTTON (yes, it's gone. I was playing with the pedal today. There is no kickdown button, wtf???)
I'm gonna see if there is anything else. Just wanted to inform you guys if anyone was thinking of getting an 09 C. Knowledge is power
On a positive note, the pano sunroof closes with one touch. Also, is there a way to change the playlist on an ipod when it's hooked up through the MB ipod add-on or can I only change songs in the playlist? If the latter is the case, then I will stick with the AUX plug in feature in my car vs. the ipod cable feature.

The 2008 C350 didn't seem to have the tunnel close feature either. Not sure why. I did notice the cluster was updated in 2009 - it has the DRL/headlamp indicator in the cluster instead of the headlight switch.
Also the MPG screen is different on the 2009.

Also noticed today, there is no trunk spoiler like on the 07 models (don't remember if the 08's had it). This is a sport version as well (avantgarde).

No kick down at the carpet, yup.
I beat those things like a red-headed step child and they keep coming back for more.
Most people fill them back up with regular unleaded (probably arco). listen for the pinging at low rpm, high load. (sad)

M-B KEEPS CUTTING CORNERS MORE AN MORE!!
Sorry had to get it off my chest, with the natural progress they make (as car makers do and should), they cut these little corners that IMO true enthusiasts would notice. I've stated before after driving more than enough W204 Loaners I'm completely disappointed by the car, considering what I'd expect and how it compares to the W203 in some ways.
Just the other day I went to test-drive an S550 with the AMG Package, I was looking at all the nooks and crannies here and there, great car overall of course, but a couple little things struck me:
1- The mesh grille on the AMG front bumper is this CHEAP honey-comb-ish type plastic that rattles if you hit it softly and is akin to materials used on Chevy's and the like. My pre-face lift W211 has a quality, glossy metal mesh grille on its AMG bumper.
2- Just like on the '07+ W211's, it uses an IMO cheaper looking and more "durable" styled interior A-Pillar fabric, kind of like a spongy look I guess, as opposed to my E's very classy, fuzzier cotton-y fabric look, which IMO says "Luxury" more than the newer ones.
Just little things here and there if you really look for, you can see cost-saving in effect.
