CV Boots look worn out

While I had the wheel taken out, I noticed the cv joint rubber boots were on the verge of cracking ... I do know the wheel bearings get damaged if dust/ water penetrated from the boots... any DIYs on changing rubber boots out

Would the dealer cover these under warranty ? Joints are fine but they wont be for long if boots aren't changed

No warranty on boots that would be a wear item you pay.
