Front Lip Spoiler - anyone?
Has anyone installed an aftermarket Front Lip Spoiler, like this one? Wondering whether this would improve the looks of our near perfect E-class or cheapen it like a rice-burner?

I was wondering the same question, I just like that look on the E-Class of a low and heavy bonnet, which the Face Lifted and AMG models have, so I thought this would be a good idea. However I dont want to fork out $400 plus install for it to look like a joke. Does anyone have one, and could you provide some pics?

If you have the sport front bumper, why not just pick up a euroteck CF front lip?

let me know if you are interested.

Don't have the sport kit, just elegance OEM bk, what is the deal with the Brabus front lips? Do they just attach on or are they an entire bumper set? I ask because I have been seeing mainly bumpers and can only find this add on (below link).
I am talking about the 2003-2007.

Does anyone know where I can find one cheaper, or a replica? It doesn't really seem to matter as it is purely aesthetic and not for racing purposes lol.

I love the lip, its subtly aggressive and classy.
No replicas. Believe me, I tried looking around. I was fortunate to be able to pick one up used from a member here (FreshBenz), at more than half the price of a new one. I was quoted about $1,200 for a new unpainted lip from an established vendor. They said its a special order part. To put that into perspective I could get a full primed OEM M-tech kit (full bumper, rear bumper and side skirt replacements) for the BMW E90 3er cheaper than that single front lip It sure costs more to dress up the W211...
I should've just made molds out of the lip and make a killing on ebay I believe there's a strong market for these.
Actually, there aren't too many replica bits for the W211 aside from the usual rear and roof spoilers (and some highly suspect AMG style body kits). Usually for body parts (especially a vulnerable lower lip) I don't mind a good quality replica, some are actually quite well done. The C class enjoy a wider spectrum of original and replica bits to choose from.

Looks like I'm going to have to call Brabus Australia today haha.
I really do like the AMG kit, but it is too expensive its a joke, and the duraflex knockoffs, no positive reviews at all, not one, so I am under the assumption they are the worst thing you could do to you w211 until proven otherwise. All I see is their stupid marketing on the forums with the dumb video of two guys and a retarded women saying "wow its unbreakable" I'm pretty sure if you gave me a hammer and 30 seconds, it would be very breakable.
That being said the Brabus bumper has grown on me quite a bit, and since I drive a 2003 elegance there is really no need for me to change the side skirts and rear, thinking of doing a OEM rear like freshbenz(tampon). (I actually just bought his H&Rs on MyMB.) I also really like the quad lights at the bottom, are one pair of them high beams and the other pair fogs?

The quad light inserts is pretty pricey, about the same price as the lip I believe (also about $1200). I'm not sure how they work, best ask AMGTestDriverNJ who has it installed on his car.

.... nothing to brag about, it is a previous model....
I was thinking, perhaps the way I drive, wouldn't mod the rear side of your car make more sense? ( if you like to add more "personality" ? )
To me, 99.9% of time, I don't notice the front end of any car, including my own car. But I tends to notice car with quad exhuast tip, big rear bumper, side skirts, spoiler quite easily.
So if you going to spend money mod your car, maybe start from the rear?

Lol I only really want some subtle changes, nothing too extravagant. The main reasons I don't want full MKB, Wald, AMG, Loriner kits is because they are (A) Pricey & (B) Visually loud.
I have to meet clients in my car and if I rock up with a car like that in Australia they are always more inclined to think:
1. Who is the joker with the excessive car
2. I am clearly paying this guy too much for consulting if he can buy this car
3. I hate you because you have nicer things than me
It sucks but I can only afford 1 car, and have no room to buy a second car.
This isn't to say though that I don't drool everytime I see these cars on the net forums or in RL, I am a massive car fan and have tremendous respect for everyones mods on this forum.
On another note, the forum has got a bit quiet recently, what happened?

It is summer, most people is out enjoy their ride.
I don't mod my car, but I do think showing the exhuast tip, make the car more sporty.
( that involved cutting the bumper from pro shop, some forum member did that )
Also... I see quite a few member smoke their tail light, but no one red-tinted their tail light.
( wanna be the first one? )

Honestly that looks a bit wierd, I think it is because there is so much red and not enough white, can you photoshop it so the small top one is red and the big one is standard?
Yes I do agree, showing some tip does give a good sporty look, which is why I want to update my tips to the current facelift look, just 2 tailpipes. I never really liked the look of a standard bumper with quad pipes, it needs a diffuser or something black/grey.
Some have painted the small bumper section grey but again I don't think it gives that clean look.

Travertine beige, no one ever has this colour, kind of why I like it, can always find my car in a parking lot.
I think it looks better with the little one redded out lol, but since I am from Aus, the laws concerning mods are very strict and probably the same as yours.

Just wanted to share this pic of my brabus lip on my 07 E350 (no AMG bumpers). I think this maybe what you're looking for. I think it works without the other pieces, see how the line flows.

Not sure about the pre-07 but on the 07+ non AMG, the Brabus lip is a straight add on. No mounting screws, just adhesive and tape. Fits perfectly, as expected. My bodyshop said its a quality piece and they charged me accordingly
I love the lip, its subtly aggressive and classy.

Which body shop did you use in the DC metro area?

I can't imagine having a front lip spoiler. Its hard enough not scraping my front bumper now, let alone with it hanging another few inches lower.

Took 20 seconds of searching on Ebay to find this one, minus the lip obviously.

It's just a bumper for an '07-'09 E350 Sport with an aftermarket lip that's been painted to match.
Took 20 seconds of searching on Ebay to find this one, minus the lip obviously.
