2006 E500 4Matic Wagon.

202k miles.

Bought it 2 months ago with 200k.

2 owner car (im the 3rd) 2nd had it from 30-200k. The car has one of the most complete dealer service records I have seen!

Love this car!

I have had about 15 MB's from a 92 400E, 99 ML320, 2002 ML55, 2005 C5, 2006 S600, 2010 E350 4Matic and a few others. My top would be the S600, well because TT V12 then this Wagon and then the C55.

Just crossed 300,000 miles
Quote: 1) 2006 E320 CDI Black – I am the second owner. Purchase date: 6/10/2014.

2) 280,822 Miles as of today. (It had 279,365 miles and new tires on it when I bought it).

3) Everything works. I bought it knowing there is this one issue. It has a little engine vibration at idle speed. What is going on is the engine shudders a bit when it is shut down. Also a noticeable vibration is felt when engine idles below 800 rpm. Not a big issue. Just time to change the 2 motor mounts and the rear engine transmission mount. About $260 for the three parts and $180 for labor at an indy shop to fix it. Will be fixing it this weekend and it will feel like new after that. Other than that, car has been well taken care of and in excellent shape, inside and out. Engine spins silky smooth and feels like it has just been broken in. Original owner’s purchase date is 8/26/2005 in Augusta, GA. It has a clean Carfax and has 36 service records. It has been maintained by the local MB dealer throughout and has had oil/filter changes done close to the recommended 13,000 mile intervals. I will be obtaining all the 36 service details from the dealer soon to get the full history.

A phot of my 2006 E320 CDI with 280K+ miles.
Crossed 300,000 miles mark on Jun 10th 2015 !!

Since my last update here, I have replaced:
1. Fuel injector copper seals (all 6) - caught the 'black death' just in time to prevent major damage.
2. Water pump- was beginning to leak. Also replaced the tensioner, 2 idle pulleys and ribbed serpentine belt even though they all looked good.

Can't wait to reach the 315,000 miles mark to get the next high mileage award badge !

Quote: 2004 E500 RWD

Bought 5 weeks ago at 96450 now has 101240 Miles

Dealer 30 day warranty repaired two front shocks, both control arms and an engine mount.

The Oil was old even though the dealer said they changed it so I changed it this week.

Fan belt was really loud it had cracks so I had it replaced and the tensioner this week also.

Everything else seems fine so far.
103,000 miles now. I repalced the Spark Plugs with Bosch platinum two spark plugs. They seemed new still but I replaced the old ones anyway. Next I am doing a Tranny flush and fluid change. I went to San Diego and back no issues so far. Also I heard a weird grinding noise when turning corners. It turned out to be my left headlight gear. Actually it went away for now.

Update on mileage 2005 E320 CDI
My 2005 E320 CDI now has 298,975 miles. I have had no major work done since 275,000... simply scheduled maintenance all at the Mercedes dealership. I am sure the fans know that Mercedes will recognize high mileage Mercs with a grill badge, certificate and documentation. All you have to do is have 250,000km and dealer certification on the mileage.
We are having a schedule E service as of this post. I will report back at 300,000 which will happen this year.

2005 E320 CDI. Had for 2 years in Feb. Just hit 185K yesterday.

Drivers side sun visor has been broken for all but 3 months we owned it. I never use it, so I haven't replaced it.

170k miles 2003 E320 sedan
2003 E320 sedan
170k miles
This is my 5th mercedes, and I do all of my own maintenance.

Common Issues:
* ball joints (DIY fix - about 8 hours of labor and $200)
* both motor mounts and transmission mount (DIY fix - about 6 hours and $150)
* idler pulley (super easy fix, $25)
* New Main Battery (easy fix, $100)
* Climate control fan squeaks (did not fix, looks to be difficult)
* Interior: both driver and passenger sun visors, delaminated center arm rest, inside door handle (chrome peeled) (on the list of TODOs)

Other Issues:
* Uses too much oil, 1 quart per thousand miles (not going to fix, just buy oil)
* TPS sensor in accelerator pedal failed (easy fix, $30 eBay used pedal assembly)
* Keyless entry doesn't work sometimes, won't lock or unlock, replaced battery, didn't help (did not fix, just annoying)
* EGR P0400 code (troubleshooting that one this weekend)
* O2 Sensor failed (4 hours of labor, $200)

My cars, ranked in terms of reliability and ease of maintenance:

1991 190E 2.6 liter (awesome car, totaled in a crash at 120k miles)
2002 CLK430 Convertible (bought used for $12k sold at a profit for $15k when I moved overseas, solid car)
2003 E320 (current car)
1997 C230 (died at 150k when timing chain broke and bent valves, otherwise reliable)
2002 C240 (worst had lots of electrical issues, traded in)

164000 miles
2nd owner, just acquired it, needs rear suspension springs replaced, and brake light just came on today which may mean a switch or an SBC control unit, digging into it tomorrow. Will also eventually do rear main seal and exhaust, spark plugs and wires and valve cover gaskets. It's only money, right?

E350 145k miles. Just got a new intake manifold replace. Bought original part in a website and had it shipped to dealer. Saved $600 in part cost. Got a new gas tank under the extended warranty. Had to get MB customer service department involved as dealer was delaying the replacement of the gas tank

2006 E320 CDI, silver with 195,000 miles.

No major issues, running in the 30s in MPG, mostly highway.

Have bought the copper seals and bolts to replace at the injectors... debating about whether or not to do the work myself.

I drive this car 2 hours per day to get to/from work, still love the ride and performance when needed.

I have a 2003 E320 Sedan (base) with 182,000 miles. I purchased it from a friend who was the original purchaser. I have had to replace the Crank Position Sensor, tires, air filters, A/C compressor and just upgraded the Head Unit. It sat in a storage garage for 1.5 years or so after he got a divorce (it was his ex-wife's car) and he sold it to me for $1000.00.

It is a great car and is my daily driver.

Been here before...
Today my E320 broke 300,000 miles (300,133). Still running like new. This one is a 2005 CDI. My wife has an identical one in pewter (mine is flint grey - see previous picture) with 95,400 miles and also runs like new. I love it/them!
