How many miles on your W211?
2) 218,000+
3) Recently changed the power steering pump due to it leaking. Replaced the serpentine belt + pulleys at the same time.
No current issues, running great. Driven 2 hours per day to and from work, about 110 miles.
2. Replaced Front Right Air Suspension
3. SBC Pump replacement done
4. Android 4.4.4 DVD & GPS Head Unit Upgrade
5. Washer Fluid hose was leaking. Replaced with new Hose and Washer Pump
6. Just replaced the Auxiliary Battery
7. Currently needs front Right and Left Control Arms and Ball Joints as the ones in there now are squeaking. Working on getting that done
8. I'm going to install a new Heater Control Valve soon.
9. Fuel Tank Recall done by MB Dealer
10. Everything else runs perfect for now. Very clean inside and out.
I love my Benz. Going to be driving my W211 for many years to come.

16109 miles
Won't switch to Winter driving mode
Shifter won't illuminate therefore in the dark you can't see the P R N D
Left mirror won't turn downwards for Parking Assistance even though I have set it to do so
Noise from front left wheel which disappears when I step on the brakes - almost sounds like brakes don't disengage fully
Red Seat Belt indicator in the dash switches off even before I buckle up
I am so glad I had the extended warranty. I estimate about 15k worth of repairs in the last 3 years.
- Most weird one is the gas smell which had to be resolved 2 times in Aug 2013 and Jan 2016 (would have cost me 3k if I had to pay for it);
- front left strut $1600 Aug 2014
- Airmatic reset and engine mount $965 Oct 2014
- hot air blowing from back vent, $800. Aug 2016
- Receiver drier, $700 July 2016
- Oil level sensor $800 May 2016
-SBC and horn - $2900 Jan 2016
Warranty will expire soon, I am hopihoping these repairs will hold up for a while and not recurring issues. Thoughts welcomed based on your experience.
46600 miles
Rear left airbag leaks, and ball joints squeaking.
Fuel tank recall done by MB.
Breather cover leak fixed...thanks to MB forum, did it myself, MB quoted me $800 to fix.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
227,345 miles & counting...
last 7k miles, it has been running on B99 exclusively. Engine runs smoother w/ much less vibration or noise than ULSD in my experience. I had been considering changing motor mounts due to engine noise prior to switching to biodiesel.
Recommended maintenance done at proper intervals since ownership. While monitoring CDI control unit 'smooth engine running' all injectors are performing adequately. Throttle response observed to be slightly less on biodiesel but 0-60 in under 10 seconds still on hard acceleration & no exhaust smoke observed, fuel or oil. Oil level checked prior to startup in IC each & every time & monitored during driving as well. No oil burn has ever been observed or detected. Oil changed every 6K miles, oil filter change every 3K miles. It is a fun car to own & drive.
134K miles & counting.
I've owned the car since 2012 and it was my wife's primary car for the first 3 years. We got her a brand new GLK350 so I've been driving it since early 2015.
The car has been as reliable as a Swiss watch! It has never failed on me. I'm fanatical about my cars so Mobil 1 oil changes every 5K miles instead of the factory recommended intervals. Also changed the front transfer case fluids and all over fluids last year.
No major breakdowns to date. I did replace the rear air bags at a very large expense in 2013 but this was negotiated into the initial purchase price as I saw that coming. Since then, we've also replaced both batteries, tires, and a crank position sensor. I think that's it! I truly feel like we hit the jackpot on this car as I've NEVER owned a car that has required fewer repairs than this one.
The car drives like new. No squeaks or rattles, feels tight as a drum on even the bumpiest roads. It's a garage queen so the paint looks same as the day it left the factory.
For short trips around town, we take the GLK. But anything that requires highways driving, I prefer the E320 wagon. The longer wheelbase makes for a more stable ride, smoother, and frankly I prefer the styling over the GLK. I love this car!

171k miles
EGR fixed for good long ago
SBC Pressure reservoir replaced
Front balljoints and control arms
Couple o-rings on oil-air separator to keep engine clean
motor mounts
on second set of brakes
maintenance on schedule, but oil changes at 6-8k.
MPG still at 29-30 overall.
2006 E350 4M Wagon
118,023
Recent replacement of rear airbags ... Arnott Did not DIY but still very happy with the result. Just returned from a 1000 mile trip (to and fro) with 25.2MPG.
Perfect car for a long ride with lots of stuff.

JULY 2015:
- Crankshaft Positioning Sensor.
- New Battery
- Cabin Filter
OCTOBER 2015:
- Faulty SRS/Airbag
- Driver Seat would not move front or aft.
- Oil and Filter Change
MAY 2016:
- Front Strut Assy.
- V-Belt
- Valve Cover Gaskets
OCTOBER 2016:
- Motor and Transmission Mounts
- Transmission Service
- Rear Main Seal
- Oil and Filter Change
- Air Filters
As the car was purchased with an extensive maintenance history from the original owner and was meticulously maintained, I tend to keep things in good working order as well. The SBC was replaced prior to me purchasing the car.
The car is super clean and even though I put quite a bit of money in it, I love the car and I love to drive it. Planning on keeping this one for quite some time, as there are many more miles to go.

However, if you do not list your name with MB, they could never contact you in case of a recall.
I believe the gas tank is valid for 12 years in case of gas smells inside the vehicle (I think).
