How many miles on your W211?
Still running smootly, exept for some minor faults.
Replased among others:
Ball joints - front/rear
Steering Joints - inner/outer
Upper and lover link arms.
Lowered suspension
Map sensor
4 A\C sensors.
Thermostat
Div Filters/brakes
It would be of great value to all the members here and Mercedes owners everywhere.
Thanks in advance for your help.
2. 80,700 miles
3. Only mechanically issue other than wear components (ie - brakes, tires, etc) was replaced ball joints @ 80,000 - only bad one was on drivers side.
Solid car so far, but this forum is scary and think I sold a Lexus to buy this car used back in 2005.

I've been lucky so far to not have any problems. The only issue I think about is that recently the ride has started to become a bit rough. I need to figure that out.
2) 47,500 miles
3) No mechanical problem, but a lot of computer or electric problem

-SRS warning turn on.
-Brake failure warning.
-Battery warning now.
-And heater not blow hot air right now.

If you have a 2003 E500 with 95k on it, but only bought it a year ago and put on 10k yourself, it doesn't mean a whole lot. It just means that the car was all fixed up and ready to sell when you bought it with 85k on it. If you say "I haven't had to do anything on my 2003 E500 with 95k" it doesn't mean much that you were able to drive it 10k without any issues

Maybe list the odo mileage and also how many miles you've owned it for and what you've had to replace in that time.
Nobody here who has been the original owner of a Mercedes with 80k+ on it hasn't had to have replaced at least something
purchased used w/ 30k miles
35k miles currently
Rear Brakes
Transmission checked multiple times (Jerky DownShift) still occurs - Dealer plays stupid
Right side knocking (ball joint?) - Dealer plays stupid

Purchased May 2010, 42,000 miles
Now (Oct 2010) 46,000 miles
1) Crack in drivers seat (MB Tex) (Warranty)
2) Rear Sun Shade stopped rolling in (Warranty)
92000 miles (as of Dec 2010; purchased Dec 07 with 47kmiles)
The List(all items I endured during my ownership):
-aux battery
-engine control module (computer)
-trunk lid subpanel (at license plate) resealed due to rain leaking
-motor mounts
-changeover valve for AC/Heater to be changed soon
-sunroof seal to be changed soon
