Put alot of work into it. I've kinda been smoke and mirrors about showing it because I'm nuts and like everything to be perfect. But I'm getting to the end of my mod list and I'd really like to get it out there and win some shows. Car is currently in the shop finishing the leather swap and upgrade. Looks great. I'm real excited to see how it does. I hope some of you guys are local and can come and see it. This show is always pretty cool, not enough euros though so come bring your car. Here is my current mod list and plans for the future. I'll post some pictures of the car after the event and some of the other cars at the show as well. Hope to see you there.

Leather is very rare in the E350, my interior was MB Tex.

Yup, thats what its called. Its pleather or vinyl basically. Its much easier to maintain but I like the look, feel and smell of leather. I really do expect it in a Mercedes but if it has to be an upgrade, so be it. The cool things that came out of this swap was that I got the rear seat passneger window sun shades that are built into the door. I'm 99% sure even if you manage to get designio leather or some type of leather package in a late model E350 you still don't have the option for sun shades.

From what I understand you can screw them on and pop the O.E. ones off, but I had the whole door panel off because I was installing the trim at the time and it just made things easier. To start removing your door panels, look at the armrest/switch panel and you'll see that whole there in the middle. If you reach inside there, there is a plastic cover. You can pop it right off and access the necessary screws to pop the panel. Did you get real Brabus aluminum pins or ebay knockoffs with the bezels?

website has link for tickets, directions, maps ect. I think its 25 a person and 50 to register to be judged which includes entry for two. So if your planning on bringing atleast one friend you might as well enter your car. Best of show I believe is $2000 which is not bad! I believe there is also $1000 2nd place and $500 3rd or something like that. More accuarate info is available on the website.
I went last year and it was a good time. There were some really awesome bikes and some nice euro and import rides. The place was packed I remember and there were quite a few hip hop celebs in attendance throughout the day. Outside, I think there were bike shows and stunts and drifting as well? I don't remember there being any food worth eating though, so stop by a blimpie or subway or something first and and pack a sandwhich or two. See you guys there.

For such a small insignificant part I unashamedly went with ebay knockoffs with bezels

Great show coming up for your second coming party here in Pittsburgh. It is the PVGP Vintage Grand Prix and is the largest Gran Prix now in the country. It is on July 18th car show and 19th Star Track show held on the German Hill of Schenly park. In total several thousand cars of all makes and years come out for this and it is a blast. Let me know if anyone is interested and I can hook you up with the right pwople for info and registration. The vintage Gran Prix is a blast to see and the MBCA Pittsburgh section location is right on one of the turns of the course on top of German Hill. It is a great event. More at PittsburghVintageGranPrix.com or .org. , Not sure but google it and you will find it easily. Good with the new and improved ride. I bet your proud...

If I lived in Jersey I would I own a Canon 10D it takes amazing photos, need a fish eye lens though because distorting it on the comp is not as effective.
