seat adjust button broken how to replace ?

My 2005 headrest button snapped off. Does anyone know how to fix and the applicable parts? No doubt the door panel needs to come off.

Thanks

I super glued the button back in, and it works fine. But, I am sure I'll pay the price if the door panel ever needed to come off because I think the button now blocks the panel from coming off.

Konigstiger - can you please email me the instructions as well?

Thanks,
Kevin

I tried that yesterday, but they want to charge $670 for a new panel. They said they got some letter from MB stating that it's not covered anymore

I just did this fix but mine was because the bottom switch was loose and not working. FCP has a good write up on how to do it.

On this note, does anyone know how the buttons are originally attached? The lower seat button that controls the fore/aft and up/down is loose on mine and I am able to control the up/down but not the fore/aft. Can I just pull the button off completely and try to glue the part that came loose or is it a permanent attachment that I will break even more if I try to remove it?
