Your a bad boy, bad... ![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
You can't compare the two. The V12TTs are rockets. Even compared to the AMG engines, the V12s are still better IMO. A benchmark of MB engineering and I must say one of the best 12 cylinder engines out there. BMW, Audi (they don't even have a true V12), you can't even compare to MB. It's the equivalent to a bentley engine or even an aston martin, ferrari, or lamborghini. Amazing work. And people will never see it coming at them, lol.

You're right about the V12TTs. I knew they were fast, but I had no idea just how freakishly quick it propels this 4400lb car. I bought it, sight unseen, without ever driving a 600 before!
I drove a few SL55's and figured it's probably about the same. WRONG! The 55K cars are just so frantic. More brutish, if you will. Plus the 600 is indeed quicker, no doubt about it. They rate them the same, but they're not. You're telling me that by some coincidence, a V12TT just happens to have the exact same HP as a blown V8? I think not. I think they had to do that as not to kill the 55AMG sales. It's just so indescribable how buttery smooth the V12TT is even while it's been thrashed. Seems impossible.
