Question 19" wheels?

I am interested in changing the wheels on my E500 to Lowenhart Ld5's. 19"x8.5" in the front and 19"x9.5" in the rear. I seem to be getting conflictiing information and would appreciate some input.

1. Would these wheels fit on an E500 without any modification?
2. Does it present any possible mechanical problems in the long run?

I have heard people running into problems with 19's when they had passengers in their car. Also, does anyone have any other suggestions for wheels. I 'm having trouble finding wheels that look right. Thanks!!

You will not have any problems as long as you order the right offsets. I'm in the wheels business and here is what I do recommend, and this is what I also have.

19x8.5 ET31 245/35/19 S03
19x9.5 ET31 275/30/19,S03 if you go with 285, you will have to roll the fender, which is what I have 285/30/19 S03

Enrique, what brand of roof and trunk spoiler is that? Also what wheels are those? Great looking E-Class.

Have a rear shot showing the exhaust tips.

Thank you for posting the pictures of your car - those wheels are amazing and the best after market ones I have seen for the E class.

Can you let us know what they are called (are they lowenhart ld5s). They are just what I have been looking for, as whilst I have the 17" 5 spoke, I have always felt they need to be a little bigger. Has the car been lowered beyond the standard MB sports suspension?

Thanks again

Marc

Lowenhart is the brand of the wheels, LD5 is the model that is similar to mine but it is a 5spoke. My car came lowered with the avantgarde/sports version and also with the sports suspension package but the front end was to high, now it is been lowered with the H&R's but I dont have new pics.

Great looking car Enrique, those are the wheels I'd like for my car, but they are heavier than Carlssons

I love the lip on the rear wheels, look at that!!! Do you have a close up on that?

They are not that heavy, see the first page of this tread and there is a close up of the wheel, the front one has a huge lip as well.

Nice looking wheels...I noticed that the front air damn of your car is different then what I have seen. Do you have a sport package? If so, did you remove the little bar that goes through the meshed portion of your front air damn. That little piece is what prevented me from getting the sports package and maybe am now regretting it if that piece could be removed

That air dam looks like the one you would expect to have on the new AMG E55 and not a modified version of the sport package air dam.

He seems to have installed the entire AMG body kit.

The body kit that you see on my car is the option from MB #772.
Amg Styling Package, which happens to be the body kit found on the E55 W211 AMG.

Yes, I saw that picture, any other picture closer, and from an angle instead of from the front of the wheel?

Thanks, but what about the same angle but just the wheel/tire. I just love those wheels too much and I want to almost touch them (at least on picture)

Yes, Lorinser makes one for the W210. Don't know the price.

P.S. Hey michakaveli, I spent you a PM about the chrome trunk piece.

Does anyone know if you can get the same Sports Package aero-kit that Crazy4Cars has on his E in the US? It looks sharp...it's too bad that our sports package doesn't look as good.

Yes but its not a factory option. you have to order from your dealer and pay for the paint and installation as well.
