Blower Regulator Replacement - Now become direct!

About a week ago, my ac blower just went dead..the lights were there but 0 airflow from the vents..I could make out the compressor switching on.
I was then told it was the Blower Regulator that was shot.

So I ordered a new one..this...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWNX%3AIT

Now the blower works, the fan speed control works but the on/off doesn't work. If the ignition is on, the blower is on, ignition off, blower off..!!

What would you guys do??

Makes sure you don't have the residue a/c button depressed. It keeps the a/c blower motor on.

"REST" button is what he's refering to. It should be off.

I would assume you have a defective regulator? Maybe getting a regulator for 50% of OEM cost means 50% of OEM quality.......

I'm having the same issue purchased two "OEM" regulators from Ebay from two different sources both just cause the blower to run a full speed even with the ignition turned off!!

Plugged blower back into original Behr regulator(9140010471) and stops blowing constant which works intermittent which is why I need to replace it, but at least I can stop the blower running.

Has anyone else had problems with these aftermarket regulators? I'm now looking for an original Behr regulator are there any differences or variations between the part number that would cause the blower to run constantly when replaced?

The only obvious thing I can see is the difference is the capacitors on the two regulators could this be the problem?

Original regulator

Aftermarket regulator
