Anyone tried pairing Droid from VZ with MB Bluetooth adapter?
I planning to get this but want to make sure it works flawlessly with Comand system.

That's good to know.
I almost got the phone today, but didn't.
I have to have the address book and call history working.
Keep me posted. Thanks.
By the way, it can take several mintues to transfer the data from the phone to Comand.

I just found several sites with this info. Contact transfer not working is a bug in Droid. And it isn't scheduled to be fixed with the new software release planned for 01/10.

Many newer phones will not transfer phone book via Bluetooth adapter with software older than 09/08......Update should be avail at your local dealer. Software of your device is printed on the back label. I have seen 99% of the phones transfer contacts with the latest MB software.

Isn't the software update included in Map data DVD for COMAND system?
Or are you saying there is updated software for the bluetooth adapter specifically?

Bluetooth "puck" does not get updated by the COMAND or Nav DVD, dealer has a special tool that updates the "puck" via SDS.
If you remove the puck the software is printed on the bottom label. XX/YY-----09/08 is newest available. Cost of update should be around $130.

I got the Droid phone last Friday, and this is one of the best phone in the market right now imho.
The bluetooth paired and work for calls but phone book transfer didn't work like most other poeple.
Today, I did a manual update to Android firmware 2.0.1, and it fixed the problem. Now, all features of BT works as it should. As I suspected, the problem was not with MB BT adapter.
I got the OEM car dock and combined it with my old Nuvi vent mount to turn it into vent mound dock. Also, connected Droid's stereo out to car's Aux in, and all work well.
The screen looks much better than shown in the pictures.

Have you had any luck? I'm holding off buying the MB blue tooth adapter until I know it will work with the Droid. The dealership tried pairing it the other day and it didn't work. Seems like motoroal should be able to come up with a solution. Thanks for any help you can give me. Doug Garrison
