How to change fog lights in '08 W211
Hi all, I searched the forum and found the following thread:
https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...bulb-w211.html
However, I looked under my car and couldn't locate the panel that is being discussed. Obviously, with the 07+ facelift I assume this may have changed.
Does anyone know who to change the foglights in an 07+ E? (I have an '08 E 350 Sport) The manual says that you should take it to the dealership to have it done, but I would prefer to do it myself. I figured I would ask on here before just trying to take off the wheel well liner and root around.
Thanks!
FYI - I am trying to switch to some Hoen Xenon match bulbs I ordered after reading about them on here.

You will need to detach lower engine compartment panel by removing several bolts, PM email address and I will send WIS.

Thanks to Konigstiger for the info. I was able to complete the install in about 10 - 15 minutes. There are 3 center bolts, one near each fog light, and two in each wheel well which hold the front engine cover on. I simply removed the center bolts and those on one side and had room to pull the cover down and put the bulb in on that side. Then I reinstalled the bolts on one side and removed the others and put that bulb in. This made it easier to maintain alignment of the cover by myself.
The bulbs just snap into the harness and twist in with a 1/4 turn.
Good luck to anyone else, the new bulbs look great.

Hoen Xenonmatch.
I haven't driven with them at night yet, just the drive home tonight at dusk. But they look great when locking the car in the parking garage and walking away.
