Can you add Bluetooth to an '07 E350 that's not pre-wired for it?
One dealer said it has to be factory installed for '07 and another dealer said you can buy the parts to install it for around $1025 (wholesale). Has anyone had this done on an '07 that didn't come pre-wired for Bluetooth?

It is $900 from here:

I just had the satellite receiver installed. It does work as advertised. They are a little pricey, but they work like the factory unit.
Good luck!

You should just have to buy the control unit, connector for cradle, and the cradle itself....install is 2-3 hours. You may also need SCN coding for the option to display on cluster.

No the car is not pre-wired. No connector in the center console storage box. The Cartronics system looks like the only option.

The base for the cradle is only there is phone system is pre-installed (389). I have yet to see an MY07 211 without prewire for phonesystem. You would have to remove the panel and there would be 2 plugs for the cradle base to plug into. If you look at panel it should also have a silloute that you pop out for cradle base to snap into.
The quality of aftermarket bluetooth system is poor compared to OEM......

If you have a 2007, I thought all you needed was the Bluetooth module, which you slide into the console in a couple of minutes, using no tools. The module is around $500 from the dealer, or about half that on Ebay.

On a datasheet, would option 387 be present if option 389 is? I ran a VIN for a car I'm looking at, and it only includes option 389, no option 387. Does this mean I can just buy the puck and simply connect it for a 60 second install?

If it is NOT pre-wired with access in the standard arm rest area. Then I believe OP would have to go through Cartronics...
