You can have the tiny key fob chip and the battery embedded in your wrist by a veterinarian and dispense with having to carry it in your pocket altogether. Only 4 stitches and it took just 1 week to heal completely. now there is an idea :y

No, but consistent with what 220S said, it is one more thing to go wrong with the car (in which case you're back to the old way of entering and starting the car).

I shudder to think about maintaining all these things once the car gets over 10 years old.
