XM subscription started by itself...not sure how or why...

XM subscription started by itself...not sure how or why...
I bought my car about a week and a half ago. I tried XM on it when I bought it and it said to call SIRIUS to activate a subscription...at the time I'm not interested in it. However, a couple days ago, I accidentally hit the "SAT" button and noticed that I now have XM. 
I'm not complaining, but wondering how and why? Is this a promo currently going on or something? I've had it for the last 3 days.
Any ideas?

As far as I know, the 07 E is incapable of receiving XM. Only Sirius. Even without a subscription to Sirius, there is always one channel that is on. (The sales pitch channel, or Info Channel)
Later versions of the MB sirius receiver are able to recieve the "Best of XM Channel"... 1 channel with a smattering of shows from different XM channels.

Now a 2007 E350 4matic
watch your date option carefully.. Sat radio people seem to have taken a stance that if you don't cancel before a certain date, they automatically keep you connected.. and if you call a week later and say you don't want it.. they not only bill you for the period, but even turn it over to collections depts if you don't pay. there's hundreds of complaints about both services.

oh yeah, and don't ever give them your cell or home phone .. they keep calling and calling and calling. I couldn't get them to stop. I finally logged in and changed my # to my fax # ..
