City light LED review
City light LED review
Told myself I wouldn't mess around with lighting after my last car, but after 3 yrs of ownership, couldn't help but start wanting to match the lights with my 6000k low beams, there's probably no way of exactly matching all lights, but I'll try
First up, LED city lights, after searching on this forum and the 211 AMG forum, I found that people were buying the iJDM LEDs, once installed, i felt they were too blue for me and after a week started searching for other bulbs which are closer to my low beams.
Found this thread on the 204 forums as they were switching to LEDs for their "eye brow" lights:

Azn_C300 organized a group buy of these LEDs and came in two different colors, blue and white. His blue LEDs were less blue than that of the iJDM LEDs.....

Here's some pics comparing all three LEDs, sorry for the quality, had to take the pics using my phone as the battery in my camera died.
1st pic: Blue (passenger side) vs iJDM (drivers side), notice how much bluer the iJDMs were
2nd pic: Blue (passenger side) vs White (drivers side)
3rd pic: Blue vs White with low beams on, with my low beams at 6000k, i felt my low beams were a tad too blue for these LEDs, in turn the Blue LEDs were a tad more blue than my low beams. So could not find an exact match, however if you have the stock 4300k bulbs, the white would probably match better. My guess on the Blue LEDs is that if you have 8000k bulbs, they would match better. Keep in mind, this is at start up, so my low beams had not whitened out yet, once they did, they matched a little better
Result is that I decided to keep the Blue ones in as they're definitely attention getters even though a tad bluer than my low beams. Really couldn't go wrong either way, but if you're not as ricey as me
, then the White LEDs are probably the way to go.
Hope this helped, I know that changing city lights are a minor thing, but wanted to help those out thinking about changing these lights and saving some time and money. With that, I'm selling my iJDM and White LEDs, let me know if interested
If you're interested in the Blue and White LEDs, you might want to contact Azn_C300. Not affiliated with him nor can't speak for him, but I'd imagine if there's enough interest from the 211 crowd, he could set up another group buy.....
Next up, fog lights, debating on going LED or halogen HID match (Philips Crystal Vision or Diamond Vision) does anyone have any experience with any of these choices?

I apologize for the noob question, but the iJDMs are plug n play right? (i.e. no additional wiring or harnesses, etc.)
Would you be able to PM me your asking price?
Thank you for your time. They both look great btw.

They are plug n play, no modification needed, simply pull out your existing bulb and insert this LED bulb.....

I'm in OC so with gas prices, it's probably more worth it to just ship it to you since shipping is FREE. PM sent.

Is anyone else having issues installing the AZN optics city lights?! I recently bought 5000k 194 Wedge LEDs for my city lights and am having a lot of trouble taking the original bulb out of the resistor in order to put the LED in, can anyone help me out?
