Presets

Can you tell me if you can scroll through your presets from the steering wheel controls? In the current E-Class, you can seek through the radio stations, but you can't select a different preset from the steering wheel. I was wondering if they fix this in the new command system.

Bichus,

Can you play music CD's while using getting directions, or is the single disc slot on the head unit for the NAV DVD? This is a big concern to me since I dont have the CD changer.

wesam,

Of course, you can play music while the nav is in use. The dvd slot for the nav sistem is in the trunk. So the slot on the head unit is for the dvd-video (and may be for cd music??? I haven't checked with music cd's since I have cd-Changer).

muhri,

Your car looks very good with the AMG package!!!. I like Nappa leather, is very, very soft, comfortable and looks great

Congrats on your new E. and enjoy.
Our babies were delivered the same day! What is your build date? mine went off the line April 10th.
I see you´re from Spain too.
Which wheels did your car come with? mine has Continentals 245/45/17 95W. Dissapointed as I thoght Michelin Piltot was standard.

Saludos paisano.

Hola Juanjo,

Great coincidence!!

My build date was Apr. 7th... The wheels: Pirelli Pzero Rosso 245/45/17 95W. I also thought M. Pilot was the standard

Espero que estes bien, saludos

The navi DVD is a dedicated unit in the trunk.

well, I've been waiting since November for this Nav thing to get resolved. Even if MB resolved this issue in the next week and started making cars with Navi, I think the earliest I can get my car is June/July. Based on this forum it seems like 2004 will have the Universal Phone Interface and possibly bluetooth in Navi, so I will probably now just get a 2004 in Sept (I'm first on the list at my dealership). If bluetooth is in, then I don't spend the $2K for the v60 phone kit, otherwise I will spend the $2K, and then when I upgrade the phone in the future, just spend for the universal holder.
