Airmatic Suspension 06' E350
I have an Airmatic Suspension on my 2006 E350. I raised the vehicle from the rear differential using the side lift points for my Jack Stands.
Rear brakes and rotors replaced with no problems!![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Problem: When fininshed I lowered the car for a test drive. I heard yawning noises coming from the rear and when I got back to my house the rear suspension was completely on the ground.
. There are no messages displayed or computer codes. The front end did not loose air. Usually when I put the key in the ignition and before starting I hear a compressor noise-this is not happening now!
Where should I begin to test?

I never knew E350s had air suspension? I thought it was a V8+ type of thing.......I think the problem might be you took out the lines for the air suspension or maybe you messed with the rear link......which is why mine was sitting on the ground too.

Airmatic on 06' E350
Airmatic was an option on the 06 E350 sport.
What is so frustrating right now is that I didn't touch the air lines. All I did was raise the care from the differential so that I could put jack stands to raise the rear end.

my problem was my rear link popped out so I had to place it back in place....this is only cause I lowered mine....I am sure something to do with the rear air lines...thats y never do DIY on my own! try searching, but I am sure the struts aren't failing cause you would have gotten a message on the dash.

When I open the door the compressor doesn't come on.
The front end is just fine.
